Drugs to produce twins
I watched a podcast from BBC News. It’s about China’s one child policy. Before this, I have also seen lots of reports from western media criticising this policy. All the reports focused on how the policy “damage” peoples and how the government execute this policy. I dont’t want to give more comments to this policy, actualy I side with the policy.
But the podcast that I watched yesterday gave some very amazing information. It said that in some villages in China, many people take one kind of drugs to evade abiding this policy. This kind of drugs can increase the posibility of having twins, which is a allowed way to get more than one child.
Actually, I can’t understand why so many poor villagers want to give birth to another child, even with drugs which probably have some damages to their children. In fact, children will definitly become a big burden to these poor families. If you can’t give your children a better life, why do you make them born? If I can’t give my child a affluent life, I will not have any child. That’s the resposibility!
