My first time to attend a concert
Last Saturday, I attended a concert (Eastern Elegant Music – Shuang Que, 东方雅韵 – 双阙) performed by some Chinese instruments(erhu and yangqin). It’s my first time to enjoy a concert. And I find the sounds and the effect of those instruments are different with those from CDs or MP3s.
Actually, I planned to attend this concert because I love the sounds of erhu and I love the melodious sounds of most of the bowed instrument. But finally, I found the sounds of yangqin are various and very impressive. The performer even used some fingerings(such as gun fo 滚拂) usually used for guqin to play some glissandi sounds.
