FeedBurner becomes a true-gle

Just as rumor said before, finally Google really acquired FeedBurner, another web2.0 website with innovative ideas. Someone described Google as a crazy shopper. Yes, indeed, Google has acquired so many companies, but I am wondering if Google is a good consumer while he is a good shopper. There’s one thing making me feel bad about Google’s acquisition. It’s about Jotspot.com which closed their account registration after Google’s acquire. This situation has lasted several month. Is there any big block during the amalgamation? Youtube is good example, but how about the Jotspot? And will Google integrate FeedBurner with other Google products?

Mash up

I am very busy these days, doing investigations on existing mash up tools. It seems “mash up” has really become a very hot phase. Microsoft delivered a cool product “popfly”, and Yahoo pipes has worked for several months. There are several teams in IBM developing more than one mash up platform.

Mush up let’s you aggregate many data source into one page or on system. You could do some level of composition of these data source. And the layouts flexibility is also a key feature and sometimes is more attractive to customers.

However, I even don’t know how these produts could effect the process or efficiency of an enterprise. Or are they only a bundle of funny tools?
